Thanks for visiting (though I'm not sure how you found us yet).
The purpose of this blog is to revel in all things first edition, especially new first editions. (Love the older titles too, but have to start somewhere.)
Initially, I'm going to compile a list of each of the first edition clubs I know about and expand from there. By 'first edition club' I mean bookstores or other organizations who sell first edition books (usually autographed) on a regular basis (usually monthly) to customers who have 'joined' the club.
I know of currently 5 or 6 clubs here in the US that are quite active. I'll start with those. Bear with me while I get things up and running, making the connections with the bookstores and tweaking things a bit.
A bit about me: I've dabbled in first editions ever since college. If I could figure out a way to make a living with this, I would. I love wandering around bookstores and book-y websites, etc. Almost as much as I love hearing the 'thunk' when Kim, the mailman, tosses the box from Odyssey Books onto my porch each month.
